A new leak from Pokemon Legends Z-A is teasing the in-game model for a brand-new Mega Evolution coming with the game, hinting at the addition of Mega Starmie. The newest entry in the beloved monster-catching franchise looks to have lots to be excited about for the return of the spinoff series started with 2022's Pokemon Legends Arceus. Pokemon Legends Z-A will bring Mega Evolutions back for the first time since Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, as well as the return of the Kalos region from Pokemon X and Y. Now, a brand-new Mega Evolution is being teased.

Pokemon Legends Z-A has already shown off several newcomers to the Mega Evolution mechanic, with multiple Pokemon receiving Mega forms for the first time. Fan-favorite Pokemon like Dragonite and Victreebel have been confirmed to be receiving Mega Evolutions, alongside popular returning Mega Evolutions like Charizard, Gardevoir, and Lucario. Pokemon Legends Z-A also revealed yet another Mega Evolution last week, showing off Mega Hawlucha as the newest Mega Pokemon. Leaks are now hinting at the newest Mega Evolution in Legends Z-A.

Mega Victreebel wasn't the only notable part of the recent Pokemon Legends: Z-A trailer, with a longstanding Kalos mystery showing its face again.

A new leak spreading around the Pokemon community is now hinting at yet another new Mega Evolution set to debut in Pokemon Legends Z-A. The leak gives a glimpse at the in-game model for a Mega Evolution of Starmie, showing off a version of Starmie with two of its bottom arms turned into a pair of long legs. The image is rumored to be taken from the Pokedex for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, suggesting that the game will make use of a similar Pokedex setup to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Pokemon Legends Z-A is currently scheduled to launch on October 16.

The potential addition of Mega Starmie to Pokemon Legends Z-A marks yet another Pokemon receiving a new Mega Evolution for the first time in the franchise. While Pokemon Legends Z-A confirmed it would not be adding any new regional variants or new Pokemon, the game has already shown off several new Mega Pokemon for players to acquire. The game is also expected to debut new Mega Evolutions for each of Legends Z-A's three Starter Pokemon, though The Pokemon Company has not officially shown Mega Meganium, Emboar, or Feraligatr yet.

Pokemon Legends Z-A looks to have lots of exciting changes to the franchise coming beyond its new Mega Evolutions. The newest Pokemon game will bring a major change to the longstanding battle system for the franchise, serving as the first Pokemon game to feature real-time Pokemon battles. Pokemon Legends Z-A is also making some notable changes to exploration within Lumiose City, allowing players to reach the rooftops of the city and featuring more 3D movement. Pokemon Legends Z-A should have plenty to excite all Pokemon fans with its release next month.
