If there's one thing from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet that can become a major feature in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, it has to be Terastallization. Implementing it is something that Game Freak should highly consider, as there are many different ways in which it will affect the overall game positively:

Terastallization can be used as a pathway to involve Pokemon from the ninth generation, increasing the number of creatures players can look forward to capturing and battling with.
The addition of the feature could make Pokemon Legends: Z-A's battles the most engaging in the franchise, as having two gimmicks opens up many possibilities for what people and their opponents can do.
It could allow the next mainline entry to have the best competitive scene among all the other titles, as having battles with Pokemon with Mega Evolutions and Terastallization means numerous strategies, allowing for a level of unpredictability that has yet to be seen.

While implementing it together with Mega Evolutions may be difficult, as it could lead to potential balancing issues, it may still be worth the effort, as it can help Pokemon Legends: Z-A achieve more success . Hopefully, Game Freak sees or has already seen potential in the idea and surprises everyone by including it with the game's official launch.
