The first time you encounter a web or cocoon while exploring the rooftops, you might think that you must burn it away with a Fire attack. But in fact, the answer as to what to do with webs in Pokemon Legends Z-A is much simpler.
What Do Pokemon Legends Z-A Webs Do?
In Pokemon Legends Z-A, cocoons and webs can be seen scattered all over the upper rooftop layer of Lumiose City. These are almost always found on the edge of rooftops across from nearby buildings. When you break a cocoon, a massive spider web will appear and stretch out across the alley or street below and connect to a nearby rooftop.
Once the spider web has settled, Pokemon Legends Z-A players can walk across the webbing to get to the top of the connected building. These spider webs remain permanently, so once you have activated one, Legends Z-A players will forever be able to access that rooftop shortcut.
Keep a keen eye out for these white cocoons as you explore the rooftops in Pokemon Legends Z-A – the only way to get to the top of certain buildings is to cross a web bridge from a nearby rooftop.
What To Do With Webs in Legends Z-A
Create Spider Webs & Cross Rooftops By Breaking Cocoons
There are a handful of obstacles Pokemon Legends Z-A players can come across as they adventure through Lumiuose City. This includes boulders that can be broken with Rock Smash, purple goop that can be cleaned with Water attacks, and thorny vines that can be removed with Fire attacks.
To break cocoon webs, P okemon Legends Z-A players must simply target it and use any pokemon's attack against it. The type of attack doesn't matter – you can even use Fire moves. As long as your pokemon makes contact with any damaging move, the web sack will burst open and form a web bridge to a nearby rooftop.
Just be sure to wait until the bridge has finished forming, as if you try to cross it before the animation finishes, your character may clip through and fall into the street or alley below.
