How to Get Galarian Farfetch'd in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Galarian Farfetch’d can be found in 3-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones (Fighting-type) or higher in Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC. Galarian Farfetch’d is a very rare spawn, however, which means it may take players many Hyperspace rerolls before they’re able to get one to appear.

In our playthrough, we were only able to find a 3-Star Hyperspace Wild Zone containing a Galarian Farfetch’d after defeating and capturing Mega Heatran in Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5, which drastically increased the number of 3-Star zones that started appearing on the map. If you’re having trouble finding this Pokemon, it may be worth progressing the DLC Main Missions to get a higher chance for it to appear.

How to Evolve Galarian Farfetch'd into Sirfetch'd in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Galarian Farfetch’d can evolve into Sirfetch’d by performing three Critical Strikes in one battle in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. The easiest way to achieve this is by having Galarian Farfetch’d use the move False Swipe against a low-level Pokemon while it has the Leek Held Item equipped (raises Critical Hit ratio by 2 stages).

Once you have both False Swipe and Leek ready, visit Wild Zone 1 and spam False Swipe against any Pokemon you see. Do this enough times, and your Galarian Farfetch’d will gain the qualification to evolve into Sirfetch’d.

False Swipe can crit even against Pokemon that are at 1 HP, but you won’t see a message pop-up on-screen indicating this.

How to Get False Swipe

Galarian Farfetch’d learns False Swipe at level 25. The Pokemon in 3-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones are naturally around the 20-24 level range, which means you will only need to level up by a small amount to get your Pokemon to learn this move.

How to Get Leek

Start the Side Mission 133: Farfetch’d Ambush! Near the Juane Pokemon Center east of Wild Zone 19 to get a free Leek from the quest giver. Finishing this mission will reward you with the False Swipe TM as well, but since Farfetch’d learns this move naturally, it is not required.
