Pokemon Legends Z-A: Guidance From a Yoga Master Guide

Guidance from a Yoga Master is a side mission in Pokemon Legends: Z-A where players are asked by a concerned trainer to find the “Legendary Yoga Master” to help with her Meditite’s training. Apparently, the Meditite has not been able to focus during its training and the female trainer Paix is concerned.

Players can pick up this mission near the Justice Dojo, directly east of the Prism Tower in the middle of Lumiose City. Those training powerful Psychic Pokemon would be wise to prioritize this quest as the rewards can be potentially game-changing for them. Here’s the breakdown.

Guidance from a Yoga Master becomes available after players have defeated Canari to reach Rank E as part of Main Mission 14.

How to Find the Legendary Yoga Master in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Paix tells the player that her yogi friends told her that the Legendary Yoga Master trains at “one circle among the five,” where “the clock points to 12:00.” Further, according to the hint, once you reach that circle, the master can only be found at “the spot closest to heaven.”

The phrase “one circle among five” is referring to the five circular plazas that surround the Prism Tower in Lumiose City. Vert Plaza in the southeast, Bleu Plaza in the southwest, Jaune Plaza in the east, Rouge Plaza in the north, and Magenta Plaza in the west.”
The phrase “the clock points to 12:00” means in the north, referring to the Rouge Plaza ( Wild Zone 3).
The phrase “the spot closest to heaven” is pointing towards the top of the tower in the middle of Rouge Plaza, as it's the highest spot in the area.

If we take all the clues together, the answer is clear: the Legendary Yoga Master can be found at the top of the tower in Wild Zone 3 in PLZA.

Fast travel to Wild Zone 3, and turn left. You’ll see a large stone tower guarded by an Alpha Litleo. Run past the Litleo into the door leading upward. At the top, you’ll find a woman training a Medicham. This is the yoga master. Talk to her and a cutscene will play out where Paix will arrive alongside Meditite to get her desired advice.

The Wild Zone 3 tower is one of the best shiny hunting spots in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

Guidance From a Yoga Master Rewards in Pokemon Legends Z-A

After Paix talks to the yoga master, Side Mission 35 will be marked complete and you’ll be given the following rewards:

2,000 Poke dollars
Twisted Spoon x1
Exp. Candy S x5

Twisted Spoon is a Held Item that boosts the effectiveness of Psychic-type moves by 20%. If you have a Pokemon like an Alakazam or Espeon on your team, it would be wise to give the item to them to hold.
