Buneary has a place on a ton of Pokemon Legends: Z-A teams since it's adorable and easy to catch, and its evolution is just as popular. You'll have to meet a special requirement before Buneary can evolve into Lopunny in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, however.
Buneary can evolve surprisingly early in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but you can also spend hours trying to get a Lopunny without making any progress. Once you know what you need to do, though, evolving Buneary doesn't take very long at all. Here's what you need to do to evolve Buneary into Lopunny in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
How to Get & Evolve Goomy in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Goomy is one of the most notorious Dragon-types in Pokeomn Legends Z-A, and here's how to get one for your team.
How to Evolve Buneary in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
Buneary can only evolve after you raise your friendship level with it in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. There isn't a minimum level requirement for Buneary to evolve into
Lopunny, so it can happen shortly after catching a wild one if you know the best ways to improve friendship.
If you want to improve your friendship level with Buneary, keep them in your party and use them during battles. Make sure to keep its HP topped off so it doesn't faint! You can also hang out with your Pokemon on benches throughout Lumiose City, and you can share drinks with your Pokemon at cafes as well. Cafe drinks significantly increase friendship, so that's where you should start if you want Lopunny in your party.
You can also give Buneary a Soothe Bell to hold. This item increases the rate at which friendship grows. You can get one by completing Side Mission 36: Some Friendly Competition. It's on the west side of Lumioise City, but it's only accessible after completing Main Mission 14 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
Once Buneary's friendship has been raised high enough, you'll see an arrow next to its icon after it levels up. When you see that arrow, Buneary can evolve into Lopunny! There are quite a few other friendship evolutions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, so you may have to repeat this process again if you end up catching one of those Pokemon.
