In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you can find all sorts of wild Pokemon in the Wild Zones. However, you may come to realize that some of the Pokemon can only be found during the nighttime, just like in other core Pokemon games.
There's a way to pass the time and make it dark (or day) in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but you'll need to play for a few hours before you're able to. Here's how it all works.
Pokemon Legends Z-A Helps Shiny Hunters With a Returning Feature
Pokemon Legends: Z-A will have a helpful feature for shiny hunters, making it easier for players to know when shiny Pokemon are nearby.
How to Pass Time and Change it From Day to Night in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You See Those Benches?
You can pass time in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and make it dark by interacting with any of the benches scattered around Lumiose City. However, you will not be able to manually change the time and use the benches until you progress into the story a bit (specifically, you must complete Main Mission 5: The City in the Shadow of Prism Tower.
Once you're free to roam before your next Rank battle, you can interact with the bench and choose from one of two options:
- Kill some time here
- Hang out with your Pokemon
If you choose the first option, you will be asked if you would like to hang out until nightfall or the morning (depending on the current time of day). If you choose the latter, you can see your six party Pokemon at once, making it a perfect opportunity for photo mode snapshots.
Turning it dark will activate the Battle Zone where you can face trainers for your Rank-Up battles.
