It seems as though the Generation 10 Pokemon games are going to be revealed on February 27, 2026. Pokemon has been an absolute juggernaut ever since it arrived on the scene in the 90s, with new generations regularly released to keep fans coming back for more. New Pokemon generations are always an exciting time, as they feature brand-new mechanics for fans to check out alongside a host of new Pokemon to catch.

The Generation 9 Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, were released back in 2022. There has never been more than four years between Pokemon generations, and so the Generation 10 games are coming due. There were some Pokemon fans that expected to see the Generation 10 games at the latest Pokemon Presents and were disappointed when they didn't show. But while the Gen 10 Pokemon games weren't at the July 2025 Pokemon Presents, it seems as though they will finally be revealed at the February 2026 one.

This is according to CentroLeaks on Twitter, who regularly leaks Pokemon news. According to their information, the next Pokemon Presents will reveal Gen 10, and it will take place in February. Traditionally, Pokemon Presents events happen on Pokemon Day, which is February 27. So, while there's always a chance that the information is off, it seems as though Pokemon fans will definitely want to tune in to the Pokemon Presents on February 27 in case it truly does reveal the Generation 10 Pokemon games.

When Will Pokemon Gen 10 Be Revealed?

There isn't much known about the Gen 10 Pokemon games at the time of this writing. The running theory is that the Gen 10 Pokemon games will be set in a region inspired by Greece, though others have claimed that the games will instead be in a region inspired by Australia. Ultimately, Pokemon fans won't know for sure what to expect from the Generation 10 Pokemon games until they're revealed.

When the Gen 10 Pokemon games are revealed, it will be interesting to see if they are released for the original Switch as well as the Switch 2, or if they are Switch 2 exclusive games. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet infamously had serious problems running on Switch 1 hardware, and it's likely that the next game in the franchise will suffer a similar fate. On the other hand, the Switch 1 install base is so massive that it's hard to ignore, and the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A is releasing as a cross-gen title. Whatever the case may be, Pokemon fans should hopefully learn more on February 27, 2026.
