A Pokemon fan was stunned when they saw their Corviknight next to their character for the first time due to the sheer size of it. Even with measurements listed in the Pokedex, the true size of some Pokemon can take players by surprise, especially ever since the Pokemon games began showing size variations between individual pocket monsters.

Pokemon sizes have thrown players off, in part, because of the way Pokemon have been represented in art. Pokemon are sometimes not depicted with the correct scale, with this even being an issue in Pokemon anime episodes. As a result, when a Pokemon fan really looks at the Pokedex, or sees their new catch next to their trainer, their mental image of a Pokemon might be shaken up.

Such seems to be the case for one Pokemon fan, who was stunned to see their Corviknight compared to the height of their player character. In a screenshot, Corviknight towers over Reddit user -Starlight_Sky-'s character, appearing to be roughly twice their height. Players did seem to be impressed by the Corviknight, though several pointed out that the Pokemon is used to carry flying taxis, which would generally hint at its size and strength. Even that can be misleading in the Pokemon world, though, considering that a tiny Pidgey can use Fly to carry a human. However, others suspected that there was something special about this particular Corviknight.

Corviknight is the Biggest a Pokemon Trainer Can Get

It turns out that the particular Covirknight pictured with the player is the biggest a player can find. A commenter asked about its size, and upon checking, -Starlight_Sky- discovered that the Pokemon had a Jumbo Mark. There's a total of nine possible size groups that any Pokemon can fall in, and in order to get the Jumbo Mark, it's necessary to get the very largest group, with a size value of 255. Players who think that they might have a Pokemon that seems gigantic can check the Pokemon's size with an NPC in Mesagoza in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

While the Jumbo Mark Corvinknight is impressive in its size, the Pokemon doesn't even make the list of the top 39 biggest Pokemon in the games. While unlikely, if Pokemon ever introduced a first-person perspective game with the correct scale for all Pokemon, it would probably throw a lot of players off. Gigantic Pokemon like Onix or Gyarados would likely strike some as positively terrifying, with the two standing at 21 feet and 28 feet tall respectively on average. Gigantamax Pokemon would make it even more intense, and would perhaps make this Corviknight look average in comparison.
