Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are just a few months away now, and with a November release date looming, fans are looking to get as much early information about the games as they can. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks have been spreading around the internet with supposed info about new regional forms for Pokemon, what the evolutions of the starters in the games will be, and plenty more. With so much information flying around online, though, not all of it can be true.

Already, some supposed leakers have been called out for sharing fake info. One leak claimed to show off Sprigatito's evolutions, for example, but was later shown to be fake. Now, it turns out that yet another Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaker has been spreading misinformation about the games. However, this time the leaker has revealed by themselves that they were posting false information about the upcoming titles, showing that their designs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's gym leaders were nothing more than bits of fan art.

Twitter user Pokemon Pants posted recently to their account stating that this past week they had been uploading fan art on 4chan, disguising them as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks. It doesn't seem that these leaks gained too much traction in the Pokemon fan base, but they are still convincing pieces of fake concept art, depicting unique gym leader designs and even going into detail on the types of Pokemon that they will use when battling the player.

Pokemon Pants initially designed seven gym leaders for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and while they may have claimed themselves that these leaks are fake, their designs do match up with another leaked lot of images of the gym leaders. A blurry set of supposed in-game images of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's gym leaders appeared online recently, also showing the game's rival. The designs featured in that leak somewhat resemble the art of Pokemon Pants, which could imply that both leaks are indeed fake.

However, fans won't know for sure which leaks can be fully confirmed until Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launches, or at least fans won't know much more about the games until a new trailer comes out for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Many fans already believe they know when this trailer could be unveiled, thanks to details being revealed about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet pre-orders being locked until mid-August. Even with a new trailer, though, there's no guarantee the gym leaders will be revealed in full, meaning all fans can do for now is speculate as more supposed leaks flood the internet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release November 18, 2022, on Switch.
