One Pokemon Scarlet and Violet gamer witnessed a strange incident where a friendly Hawlucha helped the trainer catch Noibat. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set in the newly introduced region of Paldea, full of pocket monsters like Smoliv, Sprigatito, Quaxly, Bellibolt, and Farigiraf. The latest Pokemon games have received negative reviews regarding performance, but most fans are satisfied with the gameplay and multiplayer experience.

One of the most rewarding experiences in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is catching wild Pokemon. Players need to approach wild pocket monsters and throw a Poke Ball toward it, and a successful hit will initiate the battle. Stealth is an excellent strategy while catching Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet if the player sneaks up behind the target without being seen. During the battle, the goal is to significantly lower the desired Pokemon's HP, making it easier to catch by throwing an empty Poke Ball. However, sometimes a trainer might receive help from unexpected sources, as a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player found out.

Reddit user ninanien shared a video that shows them trying to catch a Noibat, a Flying/Dragon-type Pokemon based on bats. Noibats are usually found in dark caves and communicate with other members of their species using ultrasound waves. The first few seconds of the video show Noibat is Level 51 and has a nearly full HP bar, suggesting that an attempt to catch it could fail. Still, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player confidently throws a Great Ball, which has a higher chance of success than regular Poke Balls.

Meanwhile, a nearby Hawlucha happened to see all this and did something entirely unexpected. Usually, the Poke Ball vibrates for a few seconds when catching a pocket monster in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet before it is revealed the capture is successful, and it is at this moment when Hawlucha intervenes in the process. Astonishingly, Hawlucha approaches the Poke Ball and stuns it with an acrobatic kick, essentially acting as a helpful catalyst to catch Noibat. The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet community on Reddit was amazed to see Hawlucha kicking a Poke Ball to help the trainer catch Noibat, as the post received more than 18,000 upvotes.

Hawlucha is a Fighting/Flying-type bipedal Pokemon with a birdlike structure that excels in hand-to-hand combat due to a diverse set of moves. Hawlucha was introduced in the sixth generation but remains a popular choice in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It has a small body but can compete with bigger Pokemon like Machamp due to its impressive fighting abilities.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
