How To Unlock 7-Star Tera Raids

In order to unlock 7-star Tera Raids, players will need to first beat the main campaign of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet and at the same time the Academy Ace Tournament. This will unlock 5-star Tera Raids and then players will need to complete a few of them. In about 10 or so raids, 6 and 7-star raids will be unlocked and players will be able to find them in the Paldea region.

Mighty Unrivaled Pikachu Weakness

Pikachu in Scarlet and Violet.

Pikachu being an Electric-type is only weak to Ground-type moves. However, its Water Tera-type changes things a lot. This would mean that Pikachu will now be weak to moves that are strong against Water types. Players can use Electric and Grass-type attacks against Pikachu. However, one needs to be wary of the fact that Pikachu's offensive buildup changes too, so it will now get the same-type attack bonus for both Water and Electric-type attacks.

Best Solo Counters For Mighty Unrivaled Pikachu

Having a Grass-type Pokemon is the best bet for using against Water-Tera Pikachu, and there are a plethora of options that players can choose from. Here are the best solo counters against Water Tera-type Pikachu.

Ogerpon (Teal Mask)

With the Teal Mask, players get the Grass-type advantage against Water Tera-type Pikachu. Considering that Ogerpon doesn't hold a mask, it can also hold any item. Life Orb, which can be found near Casseroya Lake, is a good option as it helps players boost their attack power. As far as the moves are concerned, players should opt for the moveset Swords Dance, Horn Leech, Focus Energy, and Ivy Cudgel. To start off, players will need to alternate between Swords Dance and Horn Leech, so that they gain HP while dealing some damage at the same time.

Once players have maxed their stats and have terrastalized, they can use Ivy Cudgel. Ivy Cudgel does more damage and with an increased critical hit ratio, there is a chance that players can knock off Pikachu completely. Players can also use Focus Energy to ramp up things even further.

Leafeon

With Leafeon, players can opt for Sunny Day, Synthesis, Swords Dance, and Leaf Blade. Players should mostly be relying on Swords Dance, in the beginning, to gather Tera energy and use Sunny Day followed by Synthesis to heal if they start getting low. Sunny Day will boost Synthesis and will ensure that they get 66.67% of their HP back. Once they terrastalize, Leaf Blade should be more than enough to take down Mighty Pikachu with ease.

Lurantis

Lurantis Pokemon

With Lurantis players need to use a setup with Covert Cloak and Contrary. One should start off with Sunny Day, and use Synthesis if they fall too low on health. From then on, it is all about simply relying on Leaf Storm and Giga Drain to whittle down Pikachu's HP. Lurantis is by far one of the most used Pokemon to take down Water Tera Pikachu, so players should definitely give it a shot.

Can Mighty Pikachu Be Shiny?

No, 7-Star Tera Raids are always shiny-locked, so players will not be able to get a shiny Pikachu by taking part in these raids. However, it can be easily obtained in the base game. Unlike some of the other starters, players don't need to venture to the Blueberry Academy to find Pikachu as it can be found in Paldea itself. With some sparkling sandwiches, they can boost their odds even further.
