Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are the latest generation games for the Pokemon series. They follow the story of a student who happens across an injured Pokemon and learns about the truth of the land that they now call home.
Since these are the latest games, players are still seeing events for them, and the latest event is happening right now. This event, The Pikachu & Friends Mass Outbreak Event, will last from Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

What Is The Pikachu & Friends Event In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?
This event features Pikachu, Pichu, Raichu, Alolan Raichu and Mimikyu. The Water Tera Type Pikachu with the Mightiest Mark will be in 7-Star Raids during the event (here's one of the best ways found to defeat the Raid). While this Pikachu has been available before, it is only available via events and can only be caught once per save data, so players will want to obtain it while they can because it isn't guaranteed to come back.
In addition to the Pikachu Raid, there will be Mass Outbreaks featuring Pikachu and its friends. Throughout Paldea, players will find Mass Outbreaks of Pichu. The Land of Kitakami will feature Pikachu and Mimikyu in Mass Outbreaks, and the Blueberry Academy will see Raichu and Alolan Raichu in Mass Outbreaks.

Alolan Raichu is not usually in the game, so players will want to obtain one while the event is happening.
