Where to Get Seedot in The Teal Mask
Since Seedot isn't in Paldea, players can only catch it if they have purchased and downloaded The Teal Mask. Due to its typing and appearance, players will mainly find Seedot in the grassy areas of Kitakami. It is prevalent near Reveler's Road, Mossfell Confluence, and Kitakami Wilds.
Seedot is very small, so players must be careful not to miss it. It is easy to catch once engaged in battle, so any Pokeball will have a high success chance. Putting a Seedot to sleep or paralyzing it is the best way to catch one.
How to Evolve Seedot into Nuzleaf
While there's a small chance players will spot a Nuzleaf in the same areas as a Seedot, its spawn rate is lower. The best way to get Nuzleaf in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is to evolve Seedot.
Seedot will evolve into Nuzleaf naturally at level 14. Leveling Pokemon up is especially easy since players have EXP Sharing as long as they are battling or catching Pokemon. Players will be notified when Seedot is ready to evolve.
How to Evolve Nuzleaf into Shiftry
Evolving Nuzleaf into Shiftry is more challenging, and leveling it up does not affect its evolution. The only way to trigger the change is to use a Leaf Stone.
Leaf Stones are rare evolution items that can be picked up from the ground or bought from specific shops. When players are ready to evolve their Nuzleaf, they can use the item from the bag menu.
Shiftry is a dual Grass/Dark-type Pokemon. It's got relatively high Attack stats and a solid moveset, including Grass, Flying, Dark, and Psychic moves. Shiftry's typing means it's got several resistances and weaknesses, making it a versatile Pokemon in the right situations.
