Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have countless different Pokemon to be collected by the trainers in Paldea, including different bugs and spiders. While these Pokemon might not be ideal for everyone, many trainers will want to have them in their collection. Opinions on spiders can vary, but even those who detest the creatures are sure to appreciate Spinarak.
Spinarak is a cute little green spider Pokemon that can be found in grassy areas. This is a very easy Pokemon to evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and this guide will explain exactly how and where to find Spinarak and the steps that must be followed to evolve it into Ariados.
How to Get Spinarak
Spinarak is a light green spider Pokemon with Bug and Poison as its types. This Pokemon can be found in the northeast and southeast parts of the map. It is very common, so players won't have a problem catching one soon after getting to one of its spawn areas.
Spinarak is normally found at lower levels, so catching it is also very easy when compared to other Pokemon that might be level 50 or more. Once coming into possession of a Spinarak, players can move on to evolving it into Ariados.
How to Evolve Spinarak into Ariados
Ariados is a bigger type of Spider that then learns Poison-type moves and attacks on top of its normal bug types. Spinarak can evolve into Ariados at level 22, meaning that as long as trainers continue leveling up, it will evolve all by itself. It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, which makes it a lot easier.
The best way to level up a Pokemon is by participating in raid battles, which reward players with candies that they can use to quickly level up any Pokemon. Grinding raid battles for a couple of minutes and giving Spinarak all the special candies, trainers will be granted Ariados in no time.
Ariados can be a powerful Pokemon if given the right moves, but the creature does have some slow speed that will make it a little tricky to use in most battles. Ariados takes x2 damage from flying, rock, fire, and psychic-type Pokemon due to it being a bug and poison-type. It is worth noting that bug types are the weakest out of all the Pokemon, but Ariados can still be useful in certain situations and battles.
