Hydrapple can offer extreme support to a group of Flapple or Appletun, which can take advantage of Grassy Terrain to deal lots of continuous damage and recover, forcing Ting-Lu to a tug-of-war that will most likely end with it beaten in a few turns.

Flapple is particularly strong as a spammer, and thanks to Grassy Terrain from Appletun and the support from Hydrapple's Dragon Cheer, it can snowball by round 2, breaking Ting-Lu's shield and forcing it into submission. All things considered, if using Appletun in the same team, (2x Flapple, 1x Appletun, 1x Hydrapple) trainers can beat this Raid without too many issues.
