A Pokemon Scarlet & Violet player recently discovered that there are Pokemon of different sizes in the game, something which they hadn't noticed all this time. While this was one of the talking points of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, many other players seem to have missed this detail as well.

It's been a while since the last major update was released for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, which concluded the saga of the mythical Pokemon Pecharunt. While the next Pokemon game is still a while away, avid fans are investing their time in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet by taking part in events such as Tera Raids and attempting to catch different variants of Pokemon. Amid that, a player has come across a neat detail in the games .

A new post on the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit by user ExpertPowerful7028 emphasizes the varying sizes of pocket monsters in the game, specifically the notably different sizes of Charmander in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. While one would expect that this would be a commonly known fact by now, some other players also highlighted that they were unaware of this, with another mentioning that they had only recently noticed this detail as well.

How To Know Pokemon Size In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

The size differences in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are in fact much more comprehensive than what the post showcases. Another player added the famous Gardevoir picture in the comments, which reveals all the available Pokemon sizes in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. The smallest Pokemon available in the game is a XXXS, and it goes up all the way to XXXL. This means that players can catch nine different sizes of a Pokemon, which is quite impressive.

In fact, there is more to this mechanic than just being a visual detail in the games. There is an NPC in the Mesagoza area of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet where players can discover what size their Pokemon is. Moreover, if they have two special sizes, which are XXXS and XXXL, they get a special title. The Jumbo mark gives the Pokemon the "Great" title, while the Mini mark gives the "Teeny" title.

There is also another way for players to know what size a Pokemon is in the two games. After buying the Lock On upgrade in Scarlet & Violet using the BB League Clubroom computer, players can learn the size of a Pokemon in the wild by pressing the left trigger on the Joycon. This can be quite crucial for players who are looking for specific sizes of Pokemon, especially the largest and smallest ones, which are extremely difficult to find.
