Pokemon Sleep is celebrating its first anniversary, and it's adding the popular starters from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to the game. Players will be able to meet, photograph, and add Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly to their napping group of buddies for the first time in Pokemon Sleep.
Pokemon Sleep's first reveal was way back in 2019, as after it was first announced, the app failed to make an appearance for some time. The intial reveal about the app was vague, leaving many Pokemon fans to wonder what it was going to be about. Pokemon Sleep introduces users to a friendly Snorlax that's making nearby Pokemon sleepy. Users can track their own sleep every night, and when they spend a healthy amount of time enjoying restful sleep, more Pokemon are attracted to the area, giving players a chance to photograph them and entice them to join their group as permanent helpers.
Now, as part of its celebration of its first anniversary, Pokemon Sleep is introducing Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly to the game. A charming trailer introduces the three Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters sneaking into the player's room to set up decorations for the event. A brief glance at the Pokemon in-game shows Fuecoco in a state of One-Eyed Sleep, while Sprigatito and Quaxly engage in Tucked Sleep and Seated Sleep, respectively. The new trio of starters will be added alongside a number of other new Pokemon, including their evolutions, starting on July 15 at 3 pm local time.
