In February, Nintendo officially announced Pokemon Sword and Shield, a pair of mainline Pokemon games that are scheduled for release exclusively on Switch later this year. This announcement came with the first Pokemon Sword and Shield trailer, which, in turn, began to reveal the extent of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Pokedex.
Indeed, many fans are certain to be interested in seeing a full Pokemon Sword and Shield Pokemon list, and compiling such a list is the goal of this article. As more Pokemon Sword and Shield confirmed Pokemon are revealed, they will be added here, and players are thus advised to check back for updates over time.
To note, new Pokemon Sword and Shield Pokemon are listed separately here, as are Legendary Pokemon and starters. Additionally, while it has been confirmed that not every Pokemon in the series will appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield, it appears that the Galar Pokedex will still be fairly extensive.
