Rumor: Upcoming Pokemon TCG Set May Feature Fan-Favorite Legendary

Recent information from the Pokemon Trading Card Game is hinting at the third Mega Evolution expansion, which may include a popular Legendary Pokemon.

As reported by Pokebeach, a study from TCGPlayer has revealed the pull rates for each different type of rarity in Mega Evolution. The report shows that Double Rares, the lowest "hit" rarity, typically show up 1 in every 5 packs, while Illustration Rares and Ultra Rares are slightly harder to pull at 1 in 9 packs and 1 in 12 packs, respectively. Special Illustration Rares, usually one of the biggest chase cards in Mega Evolution, are typically found once in every 101 packs, becoming slightly harder to pull than their Scarlet and Violet equivalents. The new Mega Hyper Rares serve as the biggest chase, only pulled once in every 1,260 packs.

Mega Hyper Rare cards are even rarer, with only one Mega Hyper Rare expected to be pulled out of 36 booster boxes of the card game. The set only features two Mega Hyper Rare cards, with Mega Gardevoir ex and Mega Lucario ex.
