The first English Mega Evolution Pokemon TCG set is scheduled to be released on September 26, and the set will be based on Japan's Mega Brave and Mega Symphona sets, which will hit shelves on August 1. Unfortunately, The Pokemon Company has confirmed that there will be a limited quantity of pre-release kits for the set due to ongoing product shortages, something that has been causing strife in the community for some time now. According to the Pokemon TCG fansite PokeBeach, the Phantasmal Flames set will be released on November 14. While unconfirmed, it is likely that this set will be based on Japan's Mega Gengar EX and Mega Diancie EX decks, along with Inferno X, which will feature Mega Charizard EX. Additionally, pre-releases will be held from November 1 until November 9. Those wanting to snag this set may want to act fast, as stock may still be low at launch, and the inclusion of Mega Evolutions will likely mean even more fans will be rushing to add these chase cards to their collections.

Released on July 18, the Black Bolt and White Flare Pokemon TCG sets have been a huge hit with players, featuring tons of unique secret rare cards showcasing incredible illustrations. The sets also saw the return of Poke Ball and Master Ball reverse holos, along with god packs. Some of the most valuable cards from these sets are fetching hundreds of dollars, with the unique monochrome foil version of Victini listed on some sites for as much as $500.

For those who prefer collecting cards digitally, tons of new content is coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket. The newest expansion, Wisdom of Sea and Sky, will be released on July 30, and a Blissy EX Drop Event will be held from August 6 until August 16. Additionally, a Marill and Weavile Wonder Pick Event will take place from August 14 until August 24.
