Pokemon TCG Pocket has finally revealed what Advance Tickets are used for within the massively popular mobile trading card game, featuring a special giveaway for its first anniversary. The beloved mobile spinoff of the cherished trading card game has seen plenty of reason to celebrate as its first year comes to a close. Pokemon TCG Pocket would earn over $100 million in revenue within the first month of the game's release, with its monumental success seeing the app downloaded over 100 million times in just five months. Now, Pokemon TCG Pocket is finally using one of its oldest, most mysterious items.
Pokemon TCG Pocket's inception saw plenty for fans to get excited about, as well as one strange item whose purpose was largely unclear. Pokemon TCG Pocket granted players who started the game within the first three months an item called the "Advance Ticket," which did not have an immediate use upon receiving the item. The item has not been used at any time since its launch, with fans unclear about what the purpose of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Advance Ticket would be. However, a new announcement has now revealed the usage for the Advance Ticket.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Could Be Getting Highly Requested Feature
An annoying feature in Pokemon TCG Pocket may soon be replaced with a quality-of-life improvement that fans have been requesting for a long time.
Pokemon TCG Pocket made an official announcement regarding the Advance Tickets via the game's social media channels. The developer revealed that the Advance Ticket will be involved in a special giveaway to celebrate Pokemon TCG Pocket's first anniversary. The drawing will be held at 11:00 P.M. EDT on October 29, with 100 players with Advance Tickets receiving the first-place prize of 1,200 Pack Hourglasses and 10,000 second-place players receiving 120 Pack Hourglasses. The giveaway also confirms that all other TCG Pocket players will be gifted 24 Pack Hourglasses as part of the event.

Pokemon TCG Pocket's first anniversary looks to have tons of exciting content on the way for fans. Pokemon TCG Pocket will give players a free pack of each version of the new "Mega Rising" expansion, alongside special cosmetics and an exclusive emblem. The mobile game will also reprint some of the game's older promo cards in a special event, with some of TCG Pocket's earliest promos being available once again. Pokemon TCG Pocket's anniversary festivities are scheduled to officially kick off on October 29.
The plethora of anniversary rewards will not be the only game-changing content coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket. The previously-mentioned Mega Rising will serve as the first expansion of the game's "B" cycle, bringing Mega Evolutions to the game alongside the physical TCG. Pokemon TCG Pocket is also set to introduce the new "Share" feature, allowing players to gift cards from their own collections to their friends. Pokemon TCG Pocket will celebrate a massive first year as it gears up to keep the success going into its second year.
