Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket kicked off a new drop event on July 2, and the main reward is a cute Alcremie card. These events have become a regular occurrence on the Pokemon TCG Pocket calendar, giving players the chance to add new promo cards to their collections.

Alcremie is a Pokemon featured in Gen 8 that has an unusual method of evolution. To get an Alcremie, its previous form, Milcery, must evolve by holding a Sweet when the player spins and poses, or gets dizzy. From there, the pocket monster can take on one of nine different variants. A notable appearance in the Pokemon anime is Murdock's Ruby Swirl Alcremie, one of the members of the Rising Volt Tacklers. Alcremie can also unlock a Gigantamax form, and due to having nine variants, it can have nine Gigantamax forms. Now, Pokemon TCG Pocket is giving the spotlight to the Creme Pokemon in its newest event.

One of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Best Cards Finally Has a Rival

Pokemon TCG Pocket's new Eevee Grove set adds a card that can finally stand its ground against one of the best in the game.

Pokemon TCG Pocket kicked off a new drop event on Wednesday, July 2, and will end on Saturday, July 12. The main reward for the event is the Alcremie alt rare card, which has a 12.66% chance of appearing when opening a promo pack. While the Fairy-type Pokemon card is the primary goodie players can get, other promo cards are up for grabs: the Jolteon rare, with a 15.82% drop rate, and regular Dragonair, Audino, and Vanillite cards, all three with a 23.84% chance of being pulled. As with other drop events, Wonder and Event Hourglasses, shop tickets, and Stardust are available upon completing missions.

New Pokemon TCG Pocket Event Brings Adorable Alcremie Card as Reward

  • Date: Wednesday, July 2, to Saturday, July 12
  • New cards: Alcremie alt rare, Jolteon rare, Audino, Vanillite, and Dragonair common

The Alcremie promo card features a lovely illustration by Tika Matsumo, showing the critter surrounded by other sweets and drinks, and is event-exclusive. The Jolteon card features art by Mizue and is an alternate artwork to the one appearing in the new Eevee Grove miniset. The Dragonair and Audino cards feature illustrations created by Shinya Komatsu and MAHOU, respectively, and differ from their existing counterparts in the game in both artwork and abilities. The only exception is the Vanillite card, which is made by OOYAMA and has the same ability as the regular variant.

In addition to the Alcremie Drop event, the Sneak Peek event is also available, another activity that appears for Pokemon TCG Pocket players regularly. The new Sneak Peek campaign began on June 30 and runs until July 7, allowing players to preview a card when making a Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick.
