Pokemon TCG Pocket has revealed a new code for players to exchange for a pack of hourglasses and trade tokens. According to the Pokemon TCG Pocket development team, the freebies are to celebrate Golden Week, a popular holiday period in Japan that runs from April 29 to May 5.
Bringing the physical Pokemon Trading Card Game to mobile devices, Pokemon TCG Pocket was released by deNA in October last year. The game attracts competitive players who exchange tips on decks and strategies as well as more casual players who focus on collecting cards. To do this, everyone needs to obtain cards either by opening packs or making trades. Helping the community in their quest to get their favorite cards, the devs have released two freebies that players won't want to miss.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Adds Highly-Requested Card
Pokemon TCG Pocket launches the new Celestial Guardians expansion and adds a new card that players have been asking for for some time.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has released a new gift code: S5N4NDM00N. With it, Pokemon TCG Pocket players can claim a pack with 24 hourglasses and 500 tokens free of charge. Users must access the specific site for claim codes, entering the one given by the devs, and insert their ID. To obtain the ID, players must open the game and, on the title screen, tap on the icon with three horizontal bars located at the top right, finding the ID at the bottom of the screen that will then appear. Players should stay alert, however, as the code to get more hourglasses and trade tokens can be claimed until May 27 at 7:59 am.
How Players Can Use Hourglass Packs and Trade Tokens in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

Players can open two booster packs a day for free, but using Pokemon TCG Pocket's hourglasses, they can open even more. While the next free pack is on cooldown, by spending a number of hourglasses equivalent to the time remaining, they can open one or 10 packs in a single go. Meanwhile, trade tokens are an essential part of trading Pokemon TCG Pocket cards, an anticipated feature developers added at the beginning of 2025. Players spend tokens proportional to the card rarity they wish to trade.
The freebies provided by deNA come just a few days after the release of Celestial Guardians, the newest Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion. With over 200 cards for players to collect, some stand out, such as Guzma and Lillie, the first Trainer cards to get an immersive variant.
