However, one particular Psychic/Ghost Legendary Pokemon from Generation Seven appears to be a significant threat to Pokemon TCG Pocket' s already imbalanced metagame.
TCG Pocket' s A2b expansion, Shining Revelry, had a major impact on PvP by introducing the infamous Giratina ex card. Lunala ex, a new card in the Celestial Guardians set, is believed to have the potential to make TCG Pocket' s Giratina ex decks even deadlier. This assumption stems from the card's ability, Psychic Connect, which lets Lunala ex move all Psychic Energy from a Benched Pokemon to an Active one. Essentially, it allows Giratina ex to function as an Energy generator for other powerful Psychic cards like Mewtwo ex, Gengar ex, and even Mesprit.
Lunala ex Might Restore Giratina ex Meta
Some fans on Reddit have pointed out that Lunala ex is a Stage Two Pokemon, which could prevent it from becoming overpowered. However, others argue that TCG Pocket' s Celestial Guardians set will introduce the Rare Candy item card, making Stage Two Pokemon more viable.
