How to Get Pack Points
The only way to earn Pack Points is by opening booster packs. Each time you open a non-promotional pack, you receive five Pack Points. This applies whether the packs are opened using free Stamina, Hourglasses, or microtransaction currencies like Poke Gold. The five-point reward is fixed and doesn’t vary between packs.
Promotional packs, such as Promo-A Packs obtained from events like the Lapras ex drop, are classified as gifts and do not award any Pack Points.
How to Spend Pack Points
1. Open the ‘Booster Pack’ menu.
2. Tap the blue sphere in the bottom-right corner of the packs.
3. This will take you to the Pack Point Exchange Shop.
4. Select your desired card and set the quantity.
5. Tap “Exchange” to craft the card.
There are no restrictions on how many cards you can exchange in the Pack Point store. As long as you have enough points, you’re free to use them all on a single card or spread them across various Pokemon—it’s entirely up to you.

Pack Point Cap and Availability

(It’s likely that players will receive advance notice to avoid losing their accumulated points.)
Currently, the Pack Point cap in Pokemon Pocket is 2,500. Any packs opened after reaching this limit will not grant additional Pack Points. To avoid wasting rewards, it’s recommended to craft some missing cards before continuing to open more packs.
Best Cards to Craft with Pack Points
Pack Points are best used to craft cards that enhance your decks. Focus on a specific lineup and use Pack Points as a backup to fill in gaps. For example, if you’re building a Mewtwo ex Deck, open Mewtwo packs to collect key cards while saving Pack Points to craft any essential cards you can’t pull.
For top-tier investments, consider crafting Giovanni, Sabrina, or Misty. These META Supporters are crucial in Pokemon Pocket PvP decks and can significantly improve your performance.
If your Supporter lineup is complete, spend Pack Points on ex Pokemon to access more META decks. Cards like Moltres ex are versatile options, enabling multiple consistent PvP lineups.
Alternatively, invest in rare cards you don’t need immediately. With Pocket’s trading feature on the horizon, extra rare Pokemon can be exchanged with other players, helping you complete your Pokedex more efficiently.
