Pokemon TCG Pocket brings the fun of the physical Pokemon TCG and adapts it into a mobile game, enabling fans to open in-game booster packs and expand upon their digital collection, as well as build custom decks to battle against AI or other players in matches. There are plenty of different cards for Trainers to collect, with over 500 different cards available in the first set, Genetic Apex. For the most part, these different cards are spread out between the three booster pack options - Charizard, Mewtwo, and Pikachu. However, there are also a certain few cards that can be contained through other means, outside of ripping packs or purchasing with Pack Points.

Promo cards are special cards that can not be obtained through opening booster packs, but instead through in-game events, which may reward promo packs, Premium Pass benefits, and completing certain missions - usually exclusive to Premium Pass holders. In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Promo cards can be earned both by purchasing a Premium Pass and completing missions to earn them as rewards. They can also be acquired by opening Promo booster packs, which can be earned during the various in-game events - usually involving taking on themed decks in battle and emerging victorious to claim them as rewards alongside some XP and Shinedust.

There are numerous Promo cards for players to collect, ranging from common cards with a unique promo stamp to special full-art cards that can make a nice addition to your collection. For those wondering about every Promo in the Genetic Apex set, a complete list of all released has been included below, enabling you to cross-check and work out which ones you are missing and can still try to get through opening promo packs, or others that you may have to trade for once this feature released further down the line.

Promo #9 is currently a mystery, as there is no available data for this card nor a spot that shows up in-game. It is highly speculated that this Promo will appear when the new Pokemon TCG Pocket releases in early 2025.
