What Are Secret Missions in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

Like most Pokemon games, TCG Pocket features a series of hidden tasks called Secret Missions. These objectives require players to collect thematic cards in exchange for resources or rare items. What makes them challenging is that they aren’t accessible from the Missions tab, so players won’t be able to see them.

List of All Secret Missions in Pokemon Pocket

Pokemon TCG Pocket has seven Themed Collection Secret Missions and one Dex Secret Mission. As the titles suggest, these missions do not appear in the Missions tab, and you will only see them after completion.

Genetic Apex Museum 1

• Reward: 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, 10 Shop Tickets
• How to Complete: Get every one-star card in the Charizard booster pack.

You will need the following cards for this mission:

Genetic Apex Museum 2

• Reward: 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, 10 Shop Tickets
• How to Complete: Get every one-star card in the Mewtwo booster pack.

You will need the following cards for this mission:

Genetic Apex Museum 3

• Reward: 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, 10 Shop Tickets
• How to Complete: Get every one-star card in the Pikachu booster pack.

You will need the following cards for this mission:

The Gym Leaders of Kanto Region 2

• Reward: 48 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, 10 Shop Tickets
• How to Complete: Collect every two-star Supporter card from the Kanto Region.

You will need the following cards for this mission:

The Legendary Flight Continues

• Reward: Legendary Birds Emblem, 48 Wonder Hourglasses, and 12 Pack Hourglasses.
• How to Complete: Collect the Special Illustration of the three Legendary Birds.

You will complete this mission once you have the colorful-bordered Special Illustration of the following cards: Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres.

Complete the Kanto Pokedex

• Reward: Mew
• How to Complete: Find one card of each Kanto Region Pokemon.

The Immersive Four

• Reward: 48 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, 20 Shop Tickets
• How to Complete: Find all four immersive cards.

You will need the four immersive variants of Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew. Except for Mew, which is acquired through another secret mission, the other three cards can be pulled from the respective booster packs.

The Pokedex Secret Mission

• Reward: Profile avatar (Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo)
• How to Complete: Find every 226 card in the Genetic Apex dex.

Once you complete the visible empty slots in your starter deck, you will receive three unique avatars of Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo.

Are Secret Missions Worth It?

The rewards for Secret Missions in Pokemon Pocket are pretty mediocre, so they may not be worth the grind. However, players should remember that this game is all about collecting cards and building fancy collections. In that sense, obtaining the rare cards required for the Secret Missions is part of Pokemon Pocket’s fun.
