Pokemon TCG Pocket players can look forward to the release of a brand-new set of cards, dubbed the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. This set includes two booster packs featuring Dialga and Palkia, the core legendary Pokemon from Gen 4, which started off with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl back in the DS era. And the 200+ cards in this new set are mostly from the Sinnoh region, so you'll be able to get iconic 'mons like Lucario, Luxray, Infernape, Regigigas, and more.

What's the Release Time for the New Space-Time Smackdown TCG Set?

The Space-Time Smackdown update for Pokemon TCG Pocket will be released at 9 PM PT on January 29 (West Coast) and 1 AM ET on January 30 for those on the US East Coast. For other time zones, you can refer to the handy dandy chart below:

What's Coming With the Space-Time Smackdown Update?

Besides the 200+ cards being added into Pokemon TCG Pocket, one of the more exciting new features coming to the game is the ability to trade cards with other players. However, there are some caveats that players will have to deal with. The developers plan to expand the range of cards that can be traded, but the feature will be restricted to lower-rarity cards at launch. Two and three-star cards (as well as crown cards) cannot be traded.

It's also worth noting that Pokemon Tools will be added to TCG Pocket, which act as equipment cards for your Pokemon with all sorts of effects.
