On March 10, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket launched the first part of a new Wonder Pick Event, where trainers can obtain Snorlax and Manaphy promo cards and a new backdrop for their collections. Pokemon TCG Pocket players have until March 24 at 1:59 AM Eastern to participate in the new Wonder Pick event, with part two picking up later.

The March 2025 Wonder Pick event started just days after Pokemon TCG Pocket observed a major milestone. In the game's first five months of service, Pokemon TCG Pocket passed 100 million downloads worldwide across all compatible devices. Between that and the $120 million in sales the game earned within its first weeks, Pokemon TCG Pocket has been a resounding success for The Pokemon Company and DeNA. Since its October launch, Pokemon TCG Pocket has added new expansions and features to keep players occupied, including the Triumphant Light booster set and the addition of Ranked matches.

Following the Triumphant Light expansion launch, Pokemon TCG Pocket players have a new event to try their luck at. Pokemon TCG Pocket players can participate in a new Wonder Pick event until March 24 at 1:59 AM Eastern. Lucky players can earn promo cards featuring Manaphy or Snorlax while the event is live. These rare promo cards will function exactly like the Manaphy and Snorlax Basic Pokemon cards from the Triumphant Light boosters, but have distinct artwork for players to collect. Manaphy is a Water-type card with 50 HP and the support move Oceanic Gift to funnel other Pokemon with Water Energy cards. By comparison, Snorlax is a beefy Colorless-type card with 140 HP and the move Collapse, which can deal 100 damage at the cost of causing Snorlax to fall asleep.

Each time the Wonder Pick resets, the Promo Cards can appear in either the Bonus Pick or Chansey Pick sections. Other rewards include new backdrops and a cover featuring Manaphy and Piplup. The current Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick event is the first of a two-part event, with the latter half happening at an undetermined date. The first days of this Wonder Pick promotion will overlap with the ongoing Gible drop event until March 16. Participants in these limited-time battles can earn Gible alongside other promo cards like Cherrim and Nosepass.

Players also have until April 30 to claim three free Genetic Apex boosters granted as part of the 2025 Pokemon Day festivities. In short, Pokemon TCG Pocket collectors wanting more cards for their virtual albums now have multiple opportunities to do so.
