After making a trip through the operating room in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, the Doctor pulls one final move on players, trapping them in an underground cage maze. The cages are filled with violent critters, but that's the least of our worries. After Yarnby, the Doctor decides to let loose another one of his pets, a goat nightmare critter by the name of Baba Chops. The only way you can escape this maze is to find the batteries and restore the power to the locked door.

Players must activate the terminal and lift the lockdown to exit No Man's Land and reach closer to the Doctor in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
How to Escape the Cage Maze in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4
Once you drop into the cage, you'll be constantly pursued by the nightmare critter, and it'll throw acidic spit that will damage you as well as decrease movement speed. Since your right hand is disabled by the Doctor, you'll have to rely on your left hand to do all the work.
Start by looking into openings inside the cages to find a battery. Once you find it, insert it in any of the empty slots and divert power to other cages in the maze to get more batteries from them. Once you have enough, then you'll need to do some tasks before escaping the cage maze in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
Open the Gate & Get the Keycard
Once you have enough batteries plugged into the wall, the first thing you'll need to do is restore power to the gate. Try to follow the wires coming out of the electric panels on the sides of the gate and find the electric router to divert power to them.
You can remove and install batteries from one socket to another to get current flowing in the desired set of wires.
Once both of the electric panels for the gate are powered, you'll need to head inside and pick up a keycard beside the body.
Restore Power to the Locked Door
Once you have the keycard, locate the locked door in the maze with an electric panel on the left, and a keycard console on the right. Use the keycard on the console and follow the wires coming out of the panels to their respective electric routers.
Once the door is powered up, head inside to destroy the last organ of the Doctor. However, the organ is replaced with a nightmare critter and the Doctor tries to give players a choice to either spare the life of the critter, in exchange for their own, or take a life to save themselves. There's also a third option where players can spot a hole in the ceiling with a handle to latch the Grabpack onto. This will allow you to escape the room without killing the nightmare critter in the containment unit.
Once the cutscene is over, nightmare critters will start breaking into the room, so you'll have to make a quick choice. Whichever choice you make, you'll successfully escape the Baba Chops' cage and proceed to the next area in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
