After surviving the attack by the Prototype on the Safe Haven, Doey has gone mission in action in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. How to Solve Waste Water Plant Cogwheel Puzzle in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4

Once players revisit the room with the Vat on their way to the Foundation in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, they'll notice that the gear sets are now uncovered, and some cogwheels are missing.

Find All Three Cogwheels

The first job here is to locate all the Cogwheels before proceeding to install them into the gear sets. You don't have to search for them for long as they're all present in the same room.

  1. The large cogwheel is lying on the floor near the shelf. It's on the right side of the vat.
  2. The small cogwheel can be found near one of the cogwheel cages.
  3. Lastly, the medium cogwheel with a silver rim can be found towards the left side of the vat, lying beside a shelf with some bottles.

Solving the Cogwheel Puzzle

Now that you've found all the cogwheels, here's how you can solve the Foundation cogwheels puzzle in Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.

  1. Insert the medium cogwheel into the first cogwheel set. Placing the gear inside will lift the cage off the second set of cogwheels.
  2. Now, players need to insert the large cogwheel in the second gear set. Just like before, placing the gear in this set will lift the cage from the third cogwheel set.
  3. Now only the small cogwheel is left, but the last gear set requires two cogwheels.
  4. You'll need to place the small cogwheel on the left slot first. After that, head to the first cogwheel set and remove the medium cogwheel from there.
  5. Now, insert the medium cogwheel into the second slot of the third cogwheel set to completely activate the mechanism.

Once you're done, the door to the mines will unlock so you can progress to the next area of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4.
