With such a great season 1, a second season would of course eventually be announced. A while back, Season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End was teased, and it’s now known who will direct it.

The director for season 2 of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is the very same person who handled season 1 at Studio Madhouse. That individual is none other than Keiichirou Saitou. Keiichirou Saitou did an incredible job in the first season, so fans have very high expectations from him in Season 2.
