They are a reward for completing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown platforming challenges and side quests, earned by defeating the game's Lost Warriors, or purchased from the shopkeepers in Haven. However, I discovered a glitch that gets players infinite Xerxes Coins. Once players have defeated the Lost Warrior Reza and obtained the Insignia of Perseopolis, exiting and entering a specific section of The Catacombs will get them another Insignia of Persepolis and a free Xerxes Coin. I am still able to replicate this glitch, even after having completed the main story, but it's unclear if this is easily repeatable or if this is just a fluke. Mileage may vary, but it's worth a shot for anyone wanting to stock up on Xerxes Coins in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
How to Get Infinite Xerxes Coins in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Defeat Lost Warrior Reza to get Insignia of Persepolis and 1 Xerxes coin
- Travel to The Catacombs and re-enter and exit the marked area. The door used doesn't seem to matter
- It's unclear if this can be easily replicated or a fluke, so keep that in mind in case it doesn't work
It's possible that developer Ubisoft Montpellier will release a Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown update that fixes this glitch, so fans should keep that in mind. However, it works as of the time of this writing, so interested fans are free to give it a shot.
As more people get their hands on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and explore its massive map, more glitches and tricks will likely be discovered, so fans should keep an eye out.
