Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

When the genre of Metroidvania is discussed, a few key elements make a game just that. There's always going to be a big world full of secrets to find, abilities that open up new ways to traverse the environment, as well as combat. All of that is present in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, with Ubisoft taking a side-scrolling approach to things.

While combat is often an engaging process, not everyone will always be keen to do the legwork and cover every little bit of ground that is found in the various locations that make up the entire world. Luckily, there are ways to cut travel short, with fast travel being a key option for players to use.

Using Fast Travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Unlike other key tools like the Healing Potion, fast travel is not available straightway in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The first instance it will be available is during the initial exploration of the Lower City, more specifically, the Scholar's Area on the western side of the area, which is where players will encounter a broken Homa Statue for the first time.

Breaking the orb will reconstruct the statue, making it active as a Fast Travel point that players can reach using another Homa Statue. Such locations are dotted around the world, and the easiest way to spot a Homa Statue is the purple hue that the screen gets covered with any time one is around.

Using Fast Travel in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

Be sure to search the immediate area to find the orb and the broken statue, destroy the orb, and add one more fast travel point for Sargon. That will make it easier to backtrack and explore areas that can now be reached using newfound powers. However, do note that you will need to be at a Homa Statue first before fast travel can be used. Wak-wak trees may be able to heal you and restore your Healing Potions, but they do not allow for fast travel to be used.
