Princess Peach: Showtime - How to Get More Hearts

Players can get additional hearts in Princess Peach: Showtime thanks to the Heart Charm - here's how it works.

The first rehearsal in Princess Peach: Showtime is the Swordfighter Rehearsal, in which gamers have to take down an oncoming horde of enemies without taking any damage. As they survive the masked swordfighters, they must also avoid environmental hazards and focus on their kill count. This guide will show gamers how to complete Swordfighter Rehearsal with a Gold Trophy.

How to Complete Swordfighter Rehearsal

taking out enemies in rehearsal level

To start Swordfighter Rehearsal, gamers have to talk to the Staff Member on the right near the center of the lobby after they've beaten Disco Wing. A speech bubble with three dots will appear over his head, meaning the player can directly interact with them.

Swordfighter Rehearsal takes two minutes to complete, and during this time, players have to take out at least 60 enemies, and they cannot take damage while doing this. If they take damage or time runs out, they'll have to restart and try again.

How to Get a Gold Trophy

To get a Gold Trophy in Swordfighter Rehearsal, players must eliminate at least 140 enemies in two minutes while avoiding hits. There are some strategies that they can follow to successfully accomplish this feat and complete the challenge.

To avoid taking damage, gamers have to try their best to stay in the center of the stage. This way, they can plan their next move as soon as they see new enemies storming in their direction, and it allows them to anticipate any thorns that might appear from the ground.

Players can practice Swordfighter Peach's moves by replaying the Swordfighter levels in Princess Peach: Showtime.

Many enemies will come from the sides, but others will appear on the balconies above. To reach the number of eliminated foes required to get a Gold Trophy, gamers have to take care of these enemy waves as well; they can do this by using the upward strike, which they can perform by pushing the left analog stick forward before jumping - this move is absolutely crucial to completing this rehearsal.
