See AllKingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Legacy of the Forge DLC Could Be an Endgame in Disguise
I bet the DLC will let you purchase land to open up shops. One is Kuttenburg, one in the Trosky Nomad camp OR near the castle where the wedding was held, assuming it doesnt get burned down or anything. Also, the forge that you originally work with.
You can hire gurds, similarily to From the Ashes, hire assistance for passive money, invest in traders who can sell you higher level crafting materials and maybe schematics for unique weapons. Or perhaps traders can instead bring your wares to other towns to sell to the local workers, and guards assignable to them acting as an escort, and, I can see the reputation system + the quality/popularity of your wears attracting more dangerous or more numerous bandits. If they successful rob your merchant, A little note informing you that your merchant is a few days late, urging you to try and find what happened to them would be sweet. Something, they might even be safe but got so drunk they got lost walking the wrong way, or your merchant meets a bathouse wench on their way back to you, and he falls for her so hard that he decides to run away with her- and all of your income. If they were infact killed then expect their killers to either be armed to the teeth or just mad rich. The possibilities are nearly endless and I really hope that Im not just wish listing.
