First off Nostalgia should never factor in when making a list. You should also prioritize newer Isekai over older Isekai. Digimon, Inuyasha, Fushigi Yugi and Magic Knights Rayearth should not be on this list. The majority of people under 40 have no clue about Fushigi Yugi or Magic Knights Rayearth. The majority of those who watched Digimon and Inuyasha did so as kids and rewatching as adults prolly would change their view of both.

Instead consider Isekais like The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated and In Another World with My Smartphone. I would also consider adding Failure Frame even though few have heard of it.

The only problem with High School DxD is how overtly perverted the main male character is. I mean come on “The Grabbin Dragon”.

He comes off at times as only seeing girls as objects which will offend too many people. More should connect with Testament of Sister New Devil where the main character’s perversion isn’t so blatant.
