Insect plague for sure. Sleet storm is a close second, I think you're sleeping on how good it is. Yes, ice storm is more concentrated and gives you the ice flooring too, but man the radius of Sleet storm is so good. I've locked down entire battlegrounds with a double cast from Gale. There's such a joy that comes from watching NPCs slip and fall that sheet damage simply can't match.

I got it right after Wastelandere came out and have been playing ever since. I wasn't around at the beginning but I would have loved to see how the world was before versus how it is now

I just couldn't get into this one. That comment about it being sterile is kinda spot on. Bethesda is also super hit and miss with their NPCs in my opinion and these core cast of companions here didn't do much of anything for me so I didn't even feel compelled to stick around and see their arcs through.

Every single Final Fantasy game for mobile that I got into was ultimately shut down with like a month's warning for players so I'm not even going to give this one the time of day.

"Tavla" made me cringe every time I read it, ugh. Of course the Origin characters are going to have more fleshed out stories than your character, they have set personalities and goals and you're a blank slate that needs to be able to have every choice a player makes in the game work. I'm glad more people are playing this one, the combat is a lot of fun and the ending is honestly pretty satisfying as far as seeing what happens to Solas goes. Not perfect, but I had fun with it. The amount of times I've flipped a vehicle upside down with it's tires in the air and managed to flip it back to normal by simply pressing the accelerate button in GTA V really has me questioning it's place on this list.

And as a business they should be like hey guy, we dropped the ball on a few things with this one, not blame the franchise they're using. If the game is good, if the marketing reaches their audience, people would buy it.

The final fight of the Endwalker expansion for FFXIV when it cuts to the Scions praying for your success and the female vocalist breakdown from Footfalls plays was pretty dang good

The first time I beat Kefka back in the SNES days was with my entire party dead except Mog who kept countering Fallen One with his Sun Dance healing spell. I basically sat and watched him slowly pick Kefka's health down until he finally dropped.

Something definitely needs to be done with the world. I'll admit I haven't played the new update so things may have gotten better, but the reason I lost interest in the first place was there just... Wasn't anything going on. The world is huge and pretty but the locations you encounter are pretty bare and void of life outside of the Pals or the occasional band of bad guys. I remember seeing a giant Yggdrasil style tree in the horizon thinking maybe that would be something cool and offer something new but I spent a good chunk of time flying out to see it only to hit a giant invisible wall. Between the empty world and the lack of a real end game, I moved on, but the game definitely has the bones to be something more than "walk here, catch Pal, onto next place".

Lucanis is the most one dimensional, bland character in Veilguard that only gets ranked highly on these lists because he's a crow and people think he's attractive. Tell me one thing about his personality that isn't "he likes coffee". Oh you can't? Didn't think so. His intro and the fact he's not a mage but is possessed are both awesome and then... Nothing. Nothing happens with him. At all. Veilguard has some weak characters all around but MAN I will never understand how anyone can think he outranks any of those other rogues.
