As a 47 year old with a full time job, I honestly don't mind spending the $ for addition cosmetic items and consumables that don't break the game. It's WAY WAY WAY cheaper than even one night out at a bar! Additionally, it's also much safer and my wife can sit in the same room watching her Real Housewives nonsense while I slay noobs with my headphones on!

That said, it BLOWS for parents! My 4 kids are grown, but if you think buying one "battle pass" is bad, you're likely still a kid yourself.

$30 every few weeks isn't nothing, but for the time I get out of it there's few other things as safe and as fun.

$30 barely gets you a meal for 2 at McDonald's... I think 200-300 hours of playtime is well worth it.

Let's just hope they spend that scrilla on advancing gameplay physics and keeping the unlocks fresh.

I'd LOVE to see season where all the guns and score streaks shift according to the decade of the conflict.
