My thoughts....well, I didn't opt to play the beta because I didn't prebuy BO7 nor do I intend to. My last straw with AV came while playing BO6.

At 78, I'm obviously not a great player. Reflexes, eyesight and hearing haven't kept up with the younger players but I've always managed to master prestige (even made red letters in BO6) but I finally decided it's just not worth all the various frustrations......and not just the cheaters & hackers. I realized you just plain can not trust Activision, especially since they've partnered with Microsoft.

My biggest gripe and what finally made me say enough is enough is how they've lied about SBMM and the various ways they now manipulate gameplay.

Balancing lobbies was a noble thought but as usual greed took over and now it's MUCH MORE than just setting lobbies with balanced skill levels. Code now can control individual players dynamically on the fly within the game. I think the motivation is to keep more players playing and more people buying stuff.

I don't mind getting beat by better players....like I said, im 78 but don't control my and enemy spawns or buff & nerf equipment in ways that nudge certain outcomes. When they do that, it's no longer a game.

Of course it exists. Players aren't making this stuff up. Anyone paying attention can see it happening. Things like aim assist, flinch, spawn location, hit damage, etc, are being dynamically controlled by algorithms within a given match to decide an individual player's outcome. It's basically about player retention.....in other words, your $$$. The FTC should be looking into this.

It's not the winners circle itself, it's the childish taunts that are so offensive.

While waiting to load, most players would rather be able to adjust options than be forced to watch divisive insults from whomever just mopped the floor with them.
