The remake was horribly written. Bill Skarsgard actually did a decent job acting the role as a crow. I wish this was not a remake / reboot and they changed the names of the main characters to just make it another crow movie. The original wasn't just a cult classic it was a masterpiece. The remakes failure had nothing to do with it being a "90's" movie. The whole drug addict twist was in poor taste because the original Eric Draven was against drugs. Most of the old plot would never have been able to have been remade because it would not be something that would go over well with today's culture- that I can agree with. Nothing will ever compare to Brandon Lee's performance.
