I love Overlord and its sequel. I'm not much of a fan of GTA type games where you play as a petty criminal, but I really wish there were more where you play as the Dark Lord himself.

Grindlen You could make an argument for "very violent antihero", but whichever you believe, you still know that's what you are all along. The twist isn't that you're secretly the villain, it's that you're secretly *not* the villain you thought you were. Alex Mercer was a villain but the twist is that you *aren't* him. The living virus that eats people thinks that Alex Mercer was a monster IIRC.

I prefer ancient ruins, though especially sci-fi ancients where they are both ancient and futuristic. Salvaging the ruins in Forever Skies is pretty fun too.

I think I'd rather replay the original Fable again than a "reboot". I just don't trust game developers anymore.
