Seeing as a lot don't know, expecting an announcement for season 3 is alright, but a release date? That's putting a deadline on something that isn't being worked on. Kaneko nor the rest of the staff have said that season 3 is in production, if it was, there would be an announcement, but nope, there isn't.

A plan that isn't set in stone, not when the VA's don't have any power at all in a production committee's point of view. It's all up to Aniplex and the rest of the Korean companies that are still deciding what to do to move forward with the anime.

Already impossible to release in 2026, since the production time needed would be a year and a half to two years, knowing what Kaneko and the staff want to upgrade the quality.
