See AllIt Looks Like Microsoft Rewards is Making Its Xbox Game Pass Price More Expensive
I used to, but not anymore. When they removed the ability to redeem rewards on the console, that was the last straw for me. The service has been in decline for quite some time now. It's a shame because at one point, it was absolutely fantastic.
Avowed Seems to Be the Next Victim of an Unfortunate Xbox Trend
For me personally, this console generation has been a huge let down on Xbox. Coming in to it with all the hype about higher frame rates, 4K, "most powerful console", blah blah. 4 years in it has barely come to fruition. I don't mean to say every single game has to have a 120 frame rate at 4K with ray tracing. Having some games that run at 30fps is fine, but 60fps should be the standard, and with higher frame rates in performance mode.
With the next-gen consoles looming, what will they have to offer? Are they going to pinky swear the next-gen will fulfill the promises of the current generation? Maybe I'm being too pessimistic, but I doubt they'll even get it right by then.
I've had enough with consoles at the moment. I know PC gaming has it's own set of challenges, but that's where I'll be putting my time and money for now. Just gotta fork over the cash and get started.
