Honestly I wouldn't mind a persona type remake the people in the comments forget that the remakes tended to change certain narrative points, add new content, and even allow players to use endgame powers unlike current metaphor. I also believe metaphor definitely had a narrative falling off as it went on.

The major con of the bossfight is that you're just thrown into it with no real info or build up and its the first boss where the game just goes "here deal with it" and players end up having to reload other saves to train for a boss they were unprepared for.
