In my opinion, NaruSaku is my favorite ship regardless of what the endgame pairings were. I remember watching the Naruto series back when it first came out in 2005 as a teenager on Toonami from Cartoon Network, and while it may not be perfect, it still teaches valuable lessons that resonate even in this current generation. No dream should be deferred or denied the way that Naruto's passionate dream was when it comes to being with the one person who he genuinely loves and cares for, Sakura Haruno. If they were truly friends, they would have talked to each other about their feelings instead of assuming what is best for one another. Friends should be able to talk about anything and figure out a solution to a problem. It goes to show you that it is one thing to assume something, even if it is genuine, and another thing to be actual friends who can be able to communicate with each other. Earlier this year, I was inspired to create ✨ my own fanfiction/revised stories called the "My NaruSaku Dream Series," a collection of dreams that I have about Naruto and Sakura's potential relationship dynamic! In some of these stories that I wrote, Hinata becomes one of the main reasons why Naruto and Sakura will eventually get together in an alternative universe. She goes on to prove her father 👨 wrong as to why she deserves to be a member of the Hyūga clan with Neji's help (he manages to stay alive in this case). Somewhere down the line, she gets in a relationship with Kiba Inuzuka, which will further help in her development as a character. These are just a few glimpses, but my stories can be found on Archive of Our Own (AO3). Go, NaruSaku, because they were right ✅ for this series and I'll continue to stand by it!
