Thats why you shouldn’t believe everything thats said on twitter, also the dear author didn’t do their research properly. There are small streamers on the Event that didn’t got officially announced in the spotlight. Like the guy that does the Omnic_post channel. He has currently 130 watchers in his stream, a bunch of people apparently got mad on twitter about why he and other small streamers weren’t invited and yesterday (i think) he literally did a short update video of apologizing to everyone for not saying anything bcs blizzard wanted to keep it a surprise. Idk why they didn’t announce the once that they invited in the end but probably its because of the marketing, to get people that watch flats or emongg or whoever for marvel rivals also tune into ow. Also they didn’t abandon the games, they still stream it but there was just no interesting content to stream about and I get it. Playing the same game over and over again for years with practically no real content is draining and not fun. Flats literally stated that he wants to play game that he has fun playing and also started to stream other games like stardewvalley even before rivals came out because he got so burned out. He even said he is gonna stream more ow when there is actually proper ingame updates, cuz having 6v6 that is poorly balanced in arcade isn’t worth to play hours over hours off if you got an entire new game like rivals to explore. Lol
