My Posts (1) 25 Years Ago, Pokemon Yellow Started a Tradition That The Series Has Yet to Evolve Past Whoever wrote this should be ashamed to be a writer. Not only is this not a "tradition", but Pokemon Yellow did not start it. The anime led to Pikachu being the mascot. Pokemon Yellow was simply Red and Blue being tweaked to match the anime.
