I've heard rumours that SEGA might be looking into an on-demand service for its retro games. Like a GamePass or Netflix-style service. Possibly with the games being streamed via the cloud.
That's why they're delisting retro games on most platforms - so the only place you can play them would be on the streaming service.
And to be honest, I'd be happy with this - as long as they actually put more games out.
SEGA Forever was/is a disappointment. They advertised that games from every SEGA console would be released, but they did a few Mega Drive ports and some PC ports of Dreamcast games. Plus a terrible version of Virtua Tennis, that wasn't really Virtua Tennis.
